Tea&Sympathy are hosting a one woman soiree performance by the Tea Raconteur Anne Norman and the elusive Camellia Cha.

May 9th 2012: Recording Lady ChaCha in Perth

In preparation for Nonchalant Bombasi-tea, Teabud went into Crank Studio in Perth and worked with sound engineer Lee Buddle to produce a backing track for "Lady ChaCha" - a far superior version of Poker Face by Lady Gaga... Twinings take note! If you want Lady Gaga as your next Celebri-tea, we have the sound track ready!

Performance artist, Anne Norman, and the enigmatic Camellia Cha, are donating their time and talent to bring you an afternoon of hilari-tea, musicali-tea and reflectivi-tea. Come and be entertained to raise the mood, (and the funds).

TIME: 2:30 - 4:30pm, with a cuppa in the middle
VENUE: The private home of Peter and Doreen Norman in Mornington

Anne Norman (aka Camellia Cha) entertains with readings from "Curiosi-tea" and performs Shakuhachi flute in the Café attached to the lovely book shop Bodhi Tree in Perth. Sunday.

Sept 28th 2010: The Joan Saxton Lecture Luncheon Club

Guest Speaker: Anne Norman brings Curiosi-tea · absurdi-tea · frivoli-tea · audaci-tea - some of life's necessi-teas...  Shakuhachi performer and professional musician, Anne performs excerpts from her book as well as shakuhachi, and tell of her adventures in China and Japan in her quest for knowledge about tea. Anne has degrees in music and ethnomusicology from universities in Australia and Japan, and has a serious dependency on sencha green tea, developed between bouts of hyperventilation while studying shakuhachi (bamboo flute) in Kobe in the mid 1980s
